Privacy Policy

Your photos are yours.
Here's exactly how we treat them.

Effective August 28, 2026 · Sameday Studio · samedaystudio.co

The short version

  • Your photos are used for one thing: creating your portraits.
  • Delivery pages and files auto-delete 30 days after delivery.
  • We never sell your data and never share it beyond the services that run Photo Lab.
  • We never use your photos to train AI models, and we don't let anyone else either.
  • Want anything deleted sooner? One email. Done.

Who we are

Sameday Studio operates Photo Lab, a service that turns your selfies into studio-quality portraits. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

What we collect

  • Photos you upload. The selfies you send us as source material for your shoot.
  • Order details. Your name, email address, and the shoot configuration you chose (backdrops, wardrobe, and so on).
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers — we see only the order amount, status, and the last four digits.
  • Usage data. An anonymous session identifier and basic page analytics so we know which of our pages and ads work. This includes the Meta (Facebook) pixel if you arrived from one of our ads.

How we use it

We use your information to create and deliver your portraits, have a human reviewer quality-check every order before it ships, handle support and revision requests, send transactional email about your order, and measure our advertising. That's the whole list. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers below, strictly to run Photo Lab.

AI processing — and what we don't do

Your photos are processed with Google's Gemini image model under paid business API terms to generate your portraits. We do not use your photos or your finished portraits to train AI models, we do not permit our providers to, and we never use your images in our marketing without your explicit written permission.

How long we keep things

Your private delivery page and all files on it automatically delete 30 days after delivery — this is by design, not an accident of housekeeping. Source photos and working files are kept only as long as needed to fulfill your order and honor the revision and refund windows, then removed. Order records (name, email, what you bought) are retained for accounting and legal purposes. Email us to have your photos deleted sooner and we'll confirm when it's done.

Services we rely on

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Google (Gemini API) — image generation
  • Cloudflare — hosting, delivery, and file storage
  • Resend — transactional email
  • Tally — secure photo upload forms
  • Meta — advertising measurement (pixel)

Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Cookies & pixels

We use a small first-party cookie/beacon to keep your session together and attribute orders to the ad or page that brought you here, plus the Meta pixel for ad measurement. You can block cookies in your browser and manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings; the site works fine either way.

Your rights

Wherever you live, we extend the same rights to everyone: ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days — usually much faster.

Age requirement

Photo Lab is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use the service, and we do not knowingly collect photos or information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top. Material changes affecting how your photos are handled will be emailed to active customers.
